Change your mindset, Change your life!

I believe that you need to have the right mindset in order to achieve your financial goals. Having a growth mindset, surrounding yourself with the right people, dreaming and action will propel you to where you want to be. Having a growth mindset means always wanting to get better and expanding your being. This means getting help when you need it or changing a habit if it’s not working. Surrounding yourself with the right people can include friends, family, and mentors that will hold you accountable and challenge you to be the best version of yourself. This will truly help you get to where you want to go. Dreaming is nessesary because you need to have a goal to achieve. If you are just hoping to get rich, it won’t happen. Having a dream of being a multi-millionaire or starting that business is what motivates you to grind and do the hard stuff in the beginning. All of these steps are good, but they amount to nothing if you don’t take action. Taking action is the most critical part. Anyone can wish for more money or wish to be out of debt. But the ones who get out of debt and acquire wealth are the ones who take action. They are the ones who say enough is enough and take steps that move the needle. Be different and change your life so that future generations will benefit from your actions.

Money Concepts

  • Spend less than you make
  • Cash is King
  • Consistency over Perfection
  • Accountabillity
  • Less Debt, Less Stress

Spend less than you make-

This is a simple topic that many people have a hard time doing. In order for you to spend less than you make, you have to know what you bring in and what goes out. This means creating a budget. It could be as organized as an excel spreadsheet, or as simple as writing it on a piece of paper. This is critical if you want to save money and achieve your goals.

Cash is King:

Simply put, purchasing with cash is always better than going into debt. Not everyone is able to pay cash for everything like a house, but it should be a mindset for all other purchases in life. Not having a car payment or credit card debt can free up your budget in a big way to save more cash for future purchases.

Consistency over Perfection:

In society today, everyone wants the “silver bullet”. Just like what you do every day at work, you have to consistently show up and put the effort in. People who want to make the perfect decision will procrastinate and ultimately never get started. It is important to start now! It could be starting that emergency fund, paying extra on your debts, or opening a retirement account and investing every month. No matter what it is, you have to make the decision to start!

Accountability:

Hold yourself accountable. If you are not happy with your financial situation, then change it. You have the power to change your financial life. If you aren’t making the money you want, then go out and make more. If you are tired of drowning in debt, then create a budget and start paying extra. No matter what your situation is, you have the power to make better financial decisions to achieve your goals.

Less Debt, Less Stress:

We believe that less debt will lead to a happier life. Imagine having a mortgage payment, a truck payment, student loans, and credit card debt that you are trying to pay each month. What if you lose a job and are out of work for a few months with no emergency fund. How would you pay your bills? What if you only had a mortgage payment with $15,000 as an emergency fund to cover yourself in case of a job loss. Then this unfortunate life event turns from a stressful event to an inconvenience.

Final Thought

Having a strong mindset will help you achieve your financial goals in life. No matter what situation you are in, the right mindset will help you succeed. Following these money concepts of spending less than you make, cash is king, consistency over perfection, accountability, and less debt less stress will ultimately lead you to financial success.
